Phansidewa, 06th May: A Trinamool Congress party office in Bidhannagar under Phansidewa has allegedly been vandalised and forcibly occupied, with the BJP being accused in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the party office was damaged, banners and hoardings were torn down, and leaflets were scattered at the site.
Following the incident, Trinamool block president Kajal Ghosh demanded that the party office be returned. He said the verdict of the people should be respected and claimed such acts are not in line with the BJP’s principles. However, he added that while the “old BJP” would not have done this, the “new BJP” is responsible for such actions. He further stated, “The party office is like a temple to me. BJP MPs and district leadership should return our party office.”
Reacting to the allegations, Phansidewa BJP leader Durga Murmu said that this is not the work of BJP workers. He claimed that attempts are being made by the Trinamool Congress to defame the BJP. He also urged that no one should engage in such unlawful activities.
