Naxalbari, 18th May: Naxalbari Police arrested two persons with stolen items from the Bengai Jote area of Naxalbari.

According to police sources, acting on a tip-off, a police mobile van reached the Bengai Jote area late at night and detained two suspicious youths. During the search, police recovered two gas cylinders and a motor from their possession. The duo was subsequently arrested.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Suraj Singh and Ishwar Roy, residents of Lalpool in Naxalbari. They were produced before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court on Monday.
