Jalpaiguri, 16th June: Police recovered several sharp weapons and seized multiple vehicles during a raid at the residence of absconding TMC leader Krishna Das in Jalpaiguri as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged post-election violence.

Krishna Das, the defeated TMC candidate from the Jalpaiguri Assembly constituency, has been accused of involvement in an attack on BJP workers in the Barapatia area on May 5, a day after the Assembly election results were declared.
