Jalpaiguri, 08th May: Archisman Majumder, a student from Jalpaiguri, has brought pride to the district by securing 10th rank in the West Bengal Madhyamik Examination 2026. He scored 688 out of 700 marks in the examination.
A resident of the Sirishtala area in Jalpaiguri town, Archisman has been known as a meritorious student since childhood. He has been studying at Jalpaiguri Zilla School since Class 6. His achievement has brought joy to his family, school, and the local community.
Archisman’s father, Amit Majumder, is a staff member at Ananda Chandra College. The family played a major role in his academic journey, especially in science subjects, which were taught by his father himself. He also took guidance from three private tutors for Bengali, English, History, and Geography.
Archisman said that regular studies and family support were the key factors behind his success.
