CM Mamata Banarjee alleges ‘attack’ in Nandigram

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee alleged that she was attacked by some people in Nandigram.

While interacting with the media, the TMC supremo, who was in Nandigram to file her nomination papers for the West Bengal Elections 2021, said that she was attacked by three to four men who tried to forcefully close the door of her car. The CM claimed to sustain leg injuries in the incident. Mamata further alleged conspiracy, stating that no police personnel was present at the spot.

Meanwhile, West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh accused Banerjee of doing drama and called it a ‘false claim’.
