BJP hosts Tiranga Yatra in Kurseong celebrating success of ‘Operation Sindoor’

Kurseong, 23rd May: In a show of patriotism and national pride, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a grand Tiranga Yatra in Kurseong on Friday to celebrate the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’. The event witnessed the active participation of Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, who attended the yatra as a special guest.

The rally saw a strong turnout, with representatives from various union organizations, ex-servicemen associations, and local residents joining in solidarity. The Tiranga Yatra commenced from the Kurseong Tourist Lodge and traversed key locations including the National Highway and Hospital More, before culminating at Vardhawan Road, Motor Stand, and the Railway Station premises.

Throughout the yatra, participants raised patriotic slogans such as ‘Hindustan Zindabad’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, and ‘Vande Mataram’, echoing sentiments of national pride and gratitude toward the Indian Army.

Upon reaching the railway station area, the procession transformed into a road meeting. Addressing the assembled crowd, MP Raju Bista stated that the Tiranga Yatra was not just a march but a symbolic journey of honor, pride, and deep patriotism. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the people of Kurseong for their enthusiastic participation and lauded the Indian Army for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, marking it as a significant achievement for the nation.
