Awareness rally and tree plantation drive organised in Rajganj on World Environment Day

Rajganj, 05th June: World Environment Day was observed through various programmes at Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School in Rajganj on Friday.

The celebrations began with a grand awareness rally from the school premises, carrying messages on environmental conservation and sustainability.

A large number of students and teachers participated in the rally, spreading awareness about the importance of protecting the environment among residents of the surrounding areas.

Following the rally, a tree plantation drive was organised at various locations across the Sahudangi area on the initiative of the school.

The programme also aimed to raise awareness among students about maintaining ecological balance and the importance of greenery in preserving the environment.

School authorities said the activities were organised to encourage environmental responsibility and promote a greener future.
