Annapurna Yojana financial assistance begins from Nabanna; 100 beneficiaries receive approval letters in Rajganj

Rajganj, 03rd June: The distribution of financial assistance under the Annapurna Yojana was formally launched from Nabanna on Wednesday through a virtual programme, aimed at enhancing the economic empowerment of women across the state.

As part of the state-wide initiative, financial assistance was directly transferred into the bank accounts of more than 28 lakh women beneficiaries.

In Rajganj Block, the Block Administration organised a programme at the BDO office where around 100 beneficiaries were handed approval letters under the scheme.

Officials said the initiative aims to provide monthly financial assistance to eligible women, thereby strengthening household financial security and promoting self-reliance.

Rajganj BDO Sourabh Kanti Mandal, Rajganj Police Station IC Amitabh Das, Panchayat Samity Sabhapati Rupali Dey Sarkar, Saha Sabhapati Kavita Chhetri Saiba, along with other local representatives, were present at the event.
