135th Tirodhan Dibas of Loknath Brahmachari celebrated with devotion in Rajganj

Special pujas began early at Akarigach Banabhasa Adi Loknath Mandir and Akarigach Loknath Mission. Devotees from local and distant areas thronged the temples to offer prayers and seek blessings.

According to Bhabatosh Dutta, secretary of the Akarigach Banabhasa Adi Loknath Mandir Committee, celebrations had been ongoing for the past three days, culminating in the main event today. He mentioned that the temple has been observing this puja for the past 43 years. Along with religious rituals, Baul songs were performed throughout the day, and clothes were distributed to needy mothers. Arrangements were also made for prasad for the visiting devotees.

At Akarigach Loknath Mission, member Asim Majumdar shared that their puja event has entered its 35th year. Devotees from various locations participated in the rituals. Baul song performances and prasad distribution were also key parts of the observance.
