Siliguri, 31st March: Eid was celebrated with devotion at Karbala Maidan and various other locations in Siliguri. A large number of people from the Muslim community gathered to offer Eid prayers on Monday.

Both adults and children participated in the prayers at Karbala Maidan, located near Jhankar More. The event witnessed a significant turnout.

Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, along with Borough Chairman Gargi Chatterjee, Councillor Pintu Ghosh, former Councillor Parimal Mitra, and others, visited Karbala Maidan to extend Eid greetings.

After the prayers, Mayor Gautam Deb conveyed his best wishes to the people on the occasion of Eid.
