Free health and eye check-up camp held in Siliguri on International Yoga Day

Siliguri, 21st June: Marking International Yoga Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Dabgram-Fulbari II Mandal Yuva Morcha organized a free health and eye check-up camp near Ektiasal Bazaar in Siliguri on Sunday.

A large number of local residents attended the camp from the morning hours to avail themselves of the healthcare services. Experienced doctors and healthcare workers conducted general health examinations, identified various eye-related problems, and provided necessary medical advice to attendees.

Special emphasis was placed on eye care, with vision tests carried out using modern equipment. Free spectacles were distributed to individuals found to be in need of corrective eyewear.

According to the organizers, the initiative was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and spreading awareness about preventive healthcare, in line with the objectives of International Yoga Day. They added that the camp sought to encourage health consciousness among the public while ensuring easier access to primary healthcare services.
