Four vehicles collide on Fulbari Teesta Canal Road, four sustain minor injuries

Fulbari, 06th August: Four vehicles were involved in a collision on Fulbari Teesta Canal Road near Lakshmi Jote Dangapara area adjacent to Putimari. Four people sustained minor injuries in the incident.

According to local sources, a parcel vehicle was travelling towards Fulbari from Ambari when it collided head-on with a goods vehicle carrying oxygen cylinders coming from the opposite direction.

Following the collision, one of the vehicles lost control and climbed onto a passenger vehicle travelling behind it. As a result, a total of four vehicles were involved in the accident.

After receiving information, police from Canal Road Traffic Outpost reached the spot. Later, personnel from New Jalpaiguri Police Station also arrived and removed the damaged vehicles from the road, restoring normal traffic movement.

Four people sustained minor injuries in the accident. New Jalpaiguri Police Station has started an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
