Fulbari, 06th August: The dilapidated Fulbari-Ghoshpukur Bypass road has been witnessing temporary pothole repair work as large pits on the road have been causing difficulties for commuters and vehicle drivers.
According to reports, the Fulbari-Ghoshpukur Bypass has remained in poor condition for a long time due to lack of repair work. Large potholes have developed at several stretches of the road, creating problems for daily commuters and drivers. During the monsoon, water accumulation in the potholes has increased the risk of accidents. Traffic congestion has also become a regular issue on the route.
In view of the situation, the Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost police and a private agency have started temporary repair work. With the help of a JCB machine, soil and stones are being used to fill the potholes so that vehicle movement can be maintained to some extent.
