CM Suvendu Adhikari to visit North Bengal today; to attend series of programmes in Jalpaiguri and Siliguri

Fulbari, 27th July: Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to visit North Bengal today to attend a series of official programmes in Jalpaiguri and Siliguri.

The district administration has made extensive preparations ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit.

According to repots, after arriving at Bagdogra Airport, the Chief Minister will travel to Jalpaiguri by helicopter. His first programme will be at the Jalpaiguri District Administrative Building, where he will hand over compensation to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Tunnel collapse incident in Sikkim.

Following the ceremony, he will proceed by helicopter to Jalpesh Temple and participate in special prayers.

Later in the day, at around 2 PM, the Chief Minister is scheduled to reach Uttar Kanya in Siliguri to chair an administrative review meeting in the presence of West Bengal Finance Minister Swapan Dasgupta.

In the afternoon, he will formally inaugurate the newly constructed Burdwan Road flyover in Siliguri, a long-awaited infrastructure project expected to improve traffic movement in the city.
