Woman tea worker injured in leopard attack in Alipurduar

Alipurduar, 16th April: A woman tea worker was injured in a leopard attack at Rajabhat Tea Estate in Alipurduar district. The injured woman, identified as Sakila Ansari, was working in Section No. 09 of the garden on Wednesday morning when the leopard suddenly attacked her.

Reportedly, the woman struggled with the animal for some time before other workers arrived at the scene. Upon their arrival, the leopard fled the area. Sakila Ansari sustained injuries in the attack and was later taken to Latabari Rural Hospital for treatment, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
