Siliguri, 27th November: A tragic incident surfaced where a four-wheeler lost control and fell into Teesta River in the Likhabir area of National Highway No. 10. The incident led to the loss of the life of two individuals identified as Vishal Chhetri and Thupden Bhutia.

According to reports, early on Monday, a car heading towards Sikkim from Siliguri lost control and plunged into the Teesta River in the said area. Upon receiving the news, police and Teesta Range personnel arrived at the spot, recovered the deceased bodies, and transported them for a post-mortem examination. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation of the entire incident.
