Lions Club of Siliguri Unnati had its 5th Installation ceremony, Shubh Aarambh, and the installation of a new Lions Club, Lions Club of Siliguri Lakshya (Sponsored by Lions Club of Siliguri and Lions Club of Siliguri Citizens).

PID Lion G.S. Hora graced the event as the Chief Guest whereas PDG Lion Srawan Chowdhury was the Installation Officer. DG Lion Hemant Kumar Agarwal and VDG1 Lion Suresh Sinhal also graced the event as the Guest of Honor. GMT Coordinator Lion Naresh Periwal was present too.

The event was well organized by MOC Lion Vikash Sharma, Charter President Lion Vishnu Bhagat and IPP Lion Vineet Nakipuria. The outgoing Secretary Lion Kulbir Singh Saluja briefed the Club’s report for Lionistic year 2021-22.

This year is special for Lions Club of Siliguri Unnati as they added 10 new members this year out of which 8 of them are Female members. All the new members along with the Existing and New Club were Inducted and Installed by PDG Lion Srawan Chowdhury. 

The speech by Chief Guest PID Lion GS Hora was very inspirational. DG Hemant Kumar Agarwal and VDG1 Lion Suresh Sinhal briefed on the duties and workings of a Lions Club and we are all set to work this year under their leadership. GMT Coordinator Lion Naresh Periwal also encouraged the members with his energetic words.

For the Lionistic Year 22-23, President Lion Kulbir Singh Saluja, Secretary Lion Rishu Jain, Treasurer Lion Manish Pareek, Administrator Lion Atul Sharma from LC of Slg Unnati and President Lion Navin Agarwal, Secretary Prateek Goel, Treasurer Vikash Goel form LC of Slg Lakshya had humbly taken the oath for perpetual availability for humanitarian services towards society.

Out of 31 members, 29 members attended the Installation ceremony for Lions Club of Siliguri Unnati and all 22 members of Lions Club of Siliguri Lakshya were present to make this event grand and successful.
