Kharibari, 16th April: Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to campaign in Kharibari on Thursday in support of BJP candidate Durga Murmu from the Phansidewa Assembly constituency.
He is scheduled to address a public rally at 3 pm. Preparations for the rally are in the final stages, with arrangements being completed at the venue. Security has been tightened in view of the Assam Chief Minister’s visit, with police forces deployed in the area.
A helipad has also been set up at the Batasi PSA ground for his arrival.
