Dooars’ daughter Anju Tamang wins India Women’s Player of the Year award 2021-22

Siliguri, 17th June: Anju Tamang, the Indian footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Women’s League club Sethu FC and the India women’s national team, has not only made her hometown Dooars but the entire country proud after her recent achievement. 

She was honored with the Women’s Player of the Year 2022 award by the Football Players Association of India (FPAI) at an awards ceremony held in Kolkata. Anju has become the pride of the Indian Gorkha and is being lauded by numerous players and people for her triumph.
