Fulbari, 09th June: A major accident was averted in Fulbari after a 14-wheeler container truck lost control and crashed near a roadside shop late on Monday night.

According to local sources, the incident took place around 11 PM near Battalion More in Fulbari. The container reportedly went out of control while moving and first hit two scooties parked along the roadside. It then crashed into an e-rickshaw before coming to a halt in front of a shop.

Although the vehicle struck the shop, no major damage or casualties were reported. Several people present in the area narrowly escaped injury.

The accident triggered panic among local residents, drawing a crowd to the spot.

Police from NJP Police Station and personnel of the Fulbari Highway Traffic Police reached the scene after receiving information. The damaged container was later recovered and taken to the police station.

Police have launched an investigation to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
